Power system state

The Baltic power system is still connected to the unified Russian power system with ten 330 kV power transmission lines. The suspension of Russian electricity imports does not affect the parallel operation of the Baltic power system with the Russian power system. Parallel work for the energy systems of all participating countries ensures the technical transit flows and balancing of electricity required for the operation of the system.

The physical flows of electricity shown on the map are technical transit flows that enter the power system across one border and leave the power system across another border. Technical transit flows are not an indicator for commercial supplies.

Please note that the data presented on this page is not completely accurate and instantaneous. Our purpose with this page is to illustrate phenomenon in the electricity system and provide insight into the work in our real control room. If you have other requirements for electricity market data, we recommend the Nord Pool website.
