At the meeting of December 19, 2023, the Public Utilities Commission (hereinafter referred to as the Regulator) recognized that:
the differentiated tariffs for electricity transmission system services of the Augstsprieguma tīkls, which on November 29, 2023 published in Latvijas Vēstnesis (No. 232) correspond to the current methodology for calculating tariffs for electricity transmission system services, and they may come into force at the time indicated in the announcement on the established tariffs published in the official publication "Latvijas Vēstnesis".
As of January 1, 2024, the following tariffs for electricity transmission services are valid:

In accordance with the Regulations No.635 p.63.9 “Regulations on the Rate of the State Fee for Public Service Regulation and the Payment Procedure” issued by the Cabinet of Ministers on 7 November 2023 charge for the reactive energy is 0.004 EUR/kVArh if tgφ is bigger than 0.4 (cosφ is less than 0.929) and according to p.65 charge for the reactive energy supplied to the TSO network is 0.0013 EUR/kVArh.
