Reconstructions

One of the goals of Augstsprieguma tīkls AS is to develop and implement a sustainable transmission system development policy. Although substantial funds have been invested in arranging and developing the transmission network during recent years, the overall age of equipment installed in the substations is still increasing. To stop ageing of the transmission network, the development policy envisages maintaining the pace of transmission network reconstruction achieved during recent years by not reducing the amount of investment in reconstruction.
