As of September 16, 2022, Board Member Mārcis Kauliņš is leaving the Management Board of the Latvian transmission system operator JSC "Augstsprieguma tīkls" (AST).

Mārcis Kauliņš joined the Board of AST in 2016, after spending several years on the Management Board of JSC "Latvijas elektriskie tīkli", which at that time was responsible for the electrical power transmission system. Mr. Kauliņš reveals that the decision to leave his position has been difficult and is related to new proffessional challenges and the achievement of career goals.

The Chairman of the AST Advisory Board Kaspars Āboliņš notes: "On behalf of the AST Advisory Board, I would like to express my gratitude to Mārcis Kauliņš for his contribution to the development of the company. It is especially noteworthy that under his leadership the reform lasting several years was implemented - the change of the management model of the transmission system, and it was implemented in the most efficient way possible."
